Patients visiting Juniper Chiropractic for the first time should expect the doctor to take time to explain how chiropractic works and why it helps. The doctor will ask questions, answer your questions and provide explanations about diagnosis and treatment. Patients should expect to undergo treatment on their first visit, this may or may not include adjusting, this depends on the patients level of discomfort and the necessary treatment.

Will my treatment be painful?

Depending on your specific condition, some patients may experience a mild level of discomfort during and or after treatment, however the majority of the doctors’ patients report an overall decrease in pain. By providing explanations of their actions, the doctor will ensure that you are aware of everything he is doing, before the adjustment is performed.

How long will my visit last?

Your first visit may last up to one hour, and follow-up appointments may last up to 30 minutes. Our doctor takes time with each patient to ensure adequate treatment, examination and discussion.

Will I need x-rays?

This test will only be ordered if it is necessary to help our doctor diagnose your problem, or if your treatment has not progressed as anticipated. X-rays are generally not needed in order to receive care.

What if I need a referral to another doctor or surgeon?

Juniper Chiropractic works closely with Bend-area doctors and health care practitioners, we pride ourselves on having a quality network of healthcare professionals that we entrust with our patients healthcare needs. Ensuring that patients receive the best care for their condition, Dr. Seitz is accustomed to co-managing patients who are seeing more than one doctor to alleviate a problem.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Juniper Chiropractic understands that “life happens” and patients may need to reschedule their appointments. Please let us know as soon as possible if this is the case and we will be happy to reschedule your visit.

What types of payment does Juniper Chiropractic accept?

We accept cash, check, debit and credit card as payment for services. Payments, including health insurance co-payments, are due at the time of service. Patients who have health insurance coverage should bring their insurance cards with them during their visit, Juniper Chiropractic will be happy to verify benefits and bill for care.

What if I don’t have health insurance?

Juniper Chiropractic treats many patient that pay out of pocket, self paying patients receive a discount for their services as they are able to pay at the time of the visit.

What if I have been involved in a car accident?

Auto insurance policies pay for medical treatment whether you are the victim or at fault. Medical costs that are a result of a car accident are paid by the auto insurance provider within one year of the accident up to the policy limit. Working with your insurance company, Juniper Chiropractic will bill the auto insurance for your treatment.

What if I was hurt at work?

Most injured workers are entitled to worker’s compensation benefits. Following a workplace injury, a chiropractor can serve as the attending physician for the first 60 days, or 18 visits, whichever comes first. Typically all bills are paid-in-full by the insurance provider, but all situations are unique, Juniper Chiropractic will bill the worker’s compensation insurance for your treatment.
